Your card will expire at the end of the month shown on the front of the card, the cards have a 24 month validity. If your UnLock facility is still active you will be sent a link for a new virtual UnLock Mastercard before the expiry date.

Each merchant has its own policy about accepting returned items. If a merchant does accept the return of goods purchased with your Unlock Mastercard, then the merchant can process a transaction, so the spending power of the card is restored.

Please advise our support team at assistance@unlockb2b.com to cancel or block your card and they will issue you a new card.

Unlock Mastercard can be used where Mastercard is accepted.

No, the cards can only be used at in-store and online.

Yes you can. Please note we charge an International Transaction Fee of 2.99%. Foreign exchange rates are charged at market prices and any rate is passed onto you without any commission or fee other than the International Transaction Fee.

Please note You may incur bank fees or merchant fees from the seller.

To access these, follow these simple steps:

  1. Download the Unlock App from the App store or Google play store
  2. Open the Unlock app on your smartphone
  3. Tap your Unlock card to reveal your card’s details. Your 16-digit card number and card expiry date will appear at the front of the card.
  4. Tap the card again (or rotate icon) to reveal the card’s 3 digit security code (CVC).

Whilst UnLock Mastercard is primarily for business purposes, You can use your UnLock Mastercard  where Mastercard is accepted. Mastercard credit cards are accepted at 37 million merchant locations in more than 210 countries and territories.

The Unlock Mastercard works the same as your debit or credit card. Unless requested[1], you are issued a digital card that you can save in your digital wallet or access via the application UnLock on your smartphone where you can view the 16 digit number, the expiry date and 3 digit security code (CVC).

For purchases:

Use Apple pay or Google Pay

If you have the UnLock Mastercard is in your digital wallet you can tap at any Mastercard payment terminal using your Applepay or Googlepay; or

Online or no payment terminal when Mastercard is accepted as a payment method

Type in the 16 digit numbers of the card, its expiry and 3 digit security code (CVC) when completing purchases where a terminal is not available.

Payment Terms

Account Limit

You will be granted an Account with a limit.  If you would like an increase in that Limit if you meet suitable credit criteria you can obtain an increase, click here or You can apply for an increase through the Portal.

Repayments

Yes. Simply log in to the Portal, you’ll be able to select any transaction and pay it early.

Follow the below steps:

  • Login to the Portal
    Go to ‘Activity Statement’ tab at the top of the page.
    Click Outstanding tab
    Click ‘pay now’ to proceed to the payment.

All repayments are automatically direct debited from your nominated bank account.

You are required to pay on the due date. If you don’t you must pay the amount outstanding and additional fees.  Until you pay these amounts, your Unlock Mastercard will suspended.

The fees are:

$25 direct debit dishonour fee you don’t pay 1st time;

$100 if you don’t pay when the direct debit is processed on the 2nd time.

Additionally a $25 late fee per day or 26% per annum whichever is greater is payable.

Statements

The transactions in the UnLock App can appear up to 4 times. This is the way that Mastercard transactions are processed – essentially a clearing process that is depending on how the transaction is processed can have up to 4 entries over a period of up to 7 days as the amounts are settled between merchant and bank, however you will only be charged once.

For reporting purposes, the transactions will only show once on the UnLock Portal

You must act quickly and provide evidence that the transaction is on dispute. This should include advice to the supplier it is in dispute, contact details of supplier and reasons for the dispute

If the dispute is due to suspected fraud, we will suspend the UnLock card until our investigation is complete.

You can view all your transactions in your Account Statement in the Portal
